Installation

This tutorial will guide you through the installation and initial setup of OpenConnector.

System Requirements​

Before installing OpenConnector, ensure your system meets these requirements:

  • Nextcloud 20 or higher
  • PHP 7.4 or higher
  • MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL database
  • Sufficient storage space for data synchronization

Installation Steps​

From the Nextcloud App Store​

  1. Log in to your Nextcloud instance as an administrator
  2. Navigate to Apps
  3. Select the "Integration" category
  4. Find "OpenConnector" in the list
  5. Click "Install"

Manual Installation​

If you prefer manual installation:

  1. Download the latest release from our GitHub repository
  2. Extract the downloaded file
  3. Move the extracted directory to your Nextcloud's apps directory
  4. Enable the app through Nextcloud's Apps menu

Post-Installation Setup​

After installation:

  1. Configure basic settings
  2. Set up user permissions
  3. Configure your first connection

Verification​

To verify your installation:

  1. Check if OpenConnector appears in your Nextcloud menu
  2. Access the Dashboard
  3. Verify all components are accessible
